Exciting progress is unfolding at Nyaka Vocational Secondary School! Thanks to the generosity of a dedicated Nyaka angel donor, the school has received a much-needed boost in its mission to provide quality education to vulnerable children. A newly constructed girls’ dormitory is set to transform opportunities for young girls, allowing more students to pursue their dreams in a safe and supportive learning environment.

Currently, the school serves 166 students, 77 boys and 86 girls. With the addition of the dormitory, Nyaka Vocational Secondary School will now welcome 100 more girls from Southwestern Uganda and beyond. This expansion is not just about increasing enrolment; it’s about empowering young women with education, a tool that can break cycles of poverty and uplift entire communities.

The Head Teacher of Nyaka Vocational Secondary School, Justus, expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying “This promises a brighter future for girls who might otherwise miss out on an education. We are very grateful to the donor for making this possible, and we look forward to welcoming more eager students to learn.”

With this milestone, Nyaka continues to create pathways for education, ensuring that more girls can access the opportunities they deserve.
