The 2024 NYC Marathon: Team Nyaka’s Incredible Impact
On November 3rd, 2024, Team Nyaka took to the streets of New York City, joining the world’s largest marathon and one of the most powerful charity events globally. The energy was electric as 22 dedicated runners laced up their sneakers, not just for the thrill of the race but to champion Nyaka’s mission to transform lives in Uganda through education, healthcare, and community support.
This year’s marathon was more than just a test of endurance—it was a testament to the power of community and purpose. Our 22 incredible runners collectively raised an astounding $129,452.33, directly fueling Nyaka’s programs for vulnerable children and grandmothers in Uganda. Each step they took helped bring hope, education, and healthcare to those who need it most.
